Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 April 2026.

These terms of use (the "Terms") govern the relationship between AppFoot, publisher of the platform, and any person accessing appfoot.com or using the associated services (the "User"). By accessing the website or creating an account, the User acknowledges having read these Terms and accepts them in full.

1. Purpose

The Terms set out the conditions under which AppFoot makes its platform available and the rules the User agrees to follow. They complement the legal notice, the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

2. Service description

AppFoot is a football-focused platform gathering three connected spaces:

The service is available through a web browser and, for players, through a native iOS and Android app.

3. Free service

AppFoot is provided entirely free of charge. No subscription, no paid module, no in-app purchase is required to access the full functionality of the platform, whether as a club, player or agent.

No general terms of sale apply, as the service has no financial consideration. AppFoot may in the future offer optional premium services whose pricing would be governed by separate terms, clearly communicated to concerned Users before any subscription.

4. Access to the service

Accessing the platform requires creating an account. The User warrants the accuracy of the information provided and undertakes to keep profile elements up to date. AppFoot may suspend or close any account containing clearly erroneous or fraudulent information.

Underage players below 15 may only use the service with the consent of their legal guardian. Their account must be linked to a parent account.

5. User obligations

The User undertakes to:

6. Prohibited uses

The following are notably prohibited:

AppFoot may suspend or close without notice any account in breach, without prejudice to potential legal action.

7. Intellectual property

All platform elements — interface, logos, text, images, videos, database, source code — are the property of AppFoot or its partners and are protected by intellectual property law.

The User retains full ownership of content they publish on the platform ("User Content"). They grant AppFoot, for the duration strictly necessary to operate the service, a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce and display User Content, limited to the needs of running the platform.

8. Service availability

AppFoot takes reasonable steps to keep the platform continuously available. However, uninterrupted service is not guaranteed, in particular during maintenance, updates, technical incidents, external attacks or force majeure.

AppFoot may temporarily suspend access to all or part of the service for maintenance, scheduled outside peak hours whenever possible.

9. Liability

As the service is free of charge, AppFoot provides the platform "as is", without warranty of outcome or fitness for a particular purpose. Within the limits allowed by law, AppFoot shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service, including loss of data, loss of operation, commercial or reputational harm.

The User remains solely responsible for the User Content they publish and for their use of the platform, particularly towards third parties.

10. Personal data

Collection and processing of personal data are detailed in our privacy policy. Users have at all times the rights provided by the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction).

11. Termination

The User may terminate their account at any time by writing to contact@appfoot.com. Closing the account entails deletion of associated data, subject to legal retention obligations.

AppFoot may close a User's account in case of serious breach of these Terms, after notice and, except in urgent cases, reasonable time to remedy.

12. Updates to the Terms

These Terms may be updated. The latest update date is shown at the top of this page. Substantial changes are notified to active Users at least 30 days before they come into effect. Continued use of the service after this period constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute regarding their interpretation or performance shall first be the subject of an attempt at amicable resolution. Failing that, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, under ordinary rules.

14. Contact

For any question on these Terms, write to contact@appfoot.com.
